What we're looking for

Lighthouse is looking for a skilled and polyvalent full-stack developer to join our development team. In this role, your primary focus will be to help build our user-facing web application using ReactJS and NodeJS.

Responsibilities

• Strong ownership of the full stack
• Developing and implementing software architecture
• Monitoring and improving data processing
• Collaborating closely with the design and rest of the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications
• Working in a small, collaborative team of software engineers, designers and product managers in an Agile environment to understand requirements, estimate the level of effort, and plan out development tasks

What you’ll bring to the table

• 2+ years of experience working in ReactJS and NodeJS frameworks (or similar technologies)
• Experience working closely with back-end engineering and product design teams
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related degree is an asset
• Advanced knowledge of Typescript, CSS, HTML (or any similar technology)
• Knowledge of relational databases
• Proficiency with GraphQL is an asset
• Proficiency with ElasticSearch is an asset
• Ability to create responsive UI components for high performance and scalability
